Hi JSS,
I've not heard of this company. Perhaps if you tell us what they are offering, we can assess the deal rather than the company in the first instance. Follow |

There are a several different investment and JV options. They also have a BTL mortgage service. You will find the website by googling ' "Property Insight" Scarborough ' .

RE: Property Insight, Aran Curry - any info?
I had a look at the website.
You need £60K to invest with them. There is much talk of capital growth and how their founder bought 100 properties with no money. If you look at my post How to avoid becoming property shark bait , you will see that they tick nearly all of the boxes! If this man is so rich, why will you find him speaking in a hotel during the week to people who did not pay to get in? If he values his time and what he offers, he would be doing highly paid one-to-ones with pre-qualified high net worth people, don't you think? May I ask a couple of questions of you? Why do you feel you should work with a company, rather than source your own deals? Have you considered what is involved with being a Landlord? Thankyou - and to answer your question: for retired expats the hands-on approach is not feasible.

Fair enough, but the best person to make decisions how to spend your money is ... you! Not a third party imho.
Please have a read of this as well ... Guru crash. It gives some good tips on how to do due diligence on companies which you make like to do on Property Insight. Out of interest ... What sort of funds do you have and what do you hope to achieve? Follow |

RE: Property Insight, Aran Curry - any info?
A person from his company enquired to come visit us to ask about using our Buy to Let Mortgage services for their buying group. I believe it was a person named Chris whom visited us, it was nothing to do with using our services but instead wanting us to refer clients to him.
Which was a great way to get a foot in the door? .. lol. Tricked me. That being said, they sounded legit. The owner Mr Curry also owns Rental Insight and Mortgage Insight. If you do not wish to be involved too much in the property, they may be well worth giving them a call. Your agreement will be with Property Insight, but Mr Curry owns a business that is FSA registered and has to meet lots of tough criteria. So I have my doubts that he will disappear like some of these other "groups". Adam Hosker Follow |

We have adequate funds for a decent property portfolio - looking for a lively but reliable team to help us build the portfolio to provide a passive income to supplement current dismal pension.
