Weekly Radio Show to Answer your property questions
Hi Guys,
I have recently taken an unusual approach to reaching my customers. Instead of the usual leaflet dropping and door knocking my company, Navigation Estates, has chosen the unique option of targeting potential clients in their own homes through the radio. But this is no ordinary advertising campaign, not only will we have the usual advertising jingles promoting our services, we are also hosting a weekly property show. The Property Clinic will air once a week on Monday evenings Drive Time show between 4pm-7pm of local community radio station Radio Dacorum. The show will offer listeners the chance to interact with a locally based property professional and ask questions on anything property related as well as any specific questions they may have about buying, selling, renting or letting a property. Listeners can contact the show with their questions by, emailing the show or messaging the show via their facebook & Twitter pages while the show is live The first few shows have been a real success and we are so excited to be offering such a unique service to our community and hope that people find it informative and helpful” I would be really grateful if any of you have any spare time this afternoon and are sat infront of a computure, if you would tune in and tweet me your questions @radiodacorum #asktheagent #thepropertyclinic The show can be heard online http://www.radiodacorum.org.uk/ Thank you and hope to hear from you on the airwaves

RE: Weekly Radio Show to Answer your property questions
What a great idea I wish you every success. I have done several spots on BBCwm where landlords were invited to ask questions but I found that the majority of the calls that came in were in fact from tenants - I wonder if you will have the same experience?

Tuned in now!
Have tweeted a question. Some good stuff being discussed. Anything that educates consumers/tenants has got to be a positive thing. Well done Julie. You sound very relaxed, confident, and knowledgeable. Follow |

Hi Mary, I would say the majority of questions are from tenants yes, but the questions i do get from landlord are always really good discussion points. The show isnt aimed at any genre merely anyone with a property question, I would assume that most of my listeners would be tenants, but i'm just happy if anyone asks a question ![]() (06-08-2012 05:43 PM)vanessa warwick Wrote: Tuned in now! Hi Vanessa Wow thank you that is a compliment indeed. i didnt get your tweet though Im glad i sound confident but i am always really nervous incase i cant answer a question, we dont have the luxury of a time delay so i dont get to see the questions before they are asked |

RE: Weekly Radio Show to Answer your property questions
Julie I am always nervous that I will not be able to answer a question on a live show but what I have found is that I don't get thousands of different questions I get the same few questions thousands of times.
I was telling a colleague how nervous I always feel at the start of a seminar, speaking engagement or radio show - he was shocked that I would be nervous after so long. I explained that I always worried that I would not be able to answer, yes I know that I could use the old trick "I don't know but I will get back to you" but that is not what people want to hear. The colleague asked me how long it had been since I was asked a question that I could not answer - Ask yourself that question Julie and you will feel much better.
