Which is a good company to consult about claiming my PPI money
Can someone please let me know about a good company to help me retrieve my PPI money?
I want to retrieve the PPI for my BTL mortgages and a personal loan I took out in 2010. Ruth

Oh wow. Sounds like the recovery companies are all shady then.

The reason you DON'T use recovery companies is they take a percentage of the PPI refund that you could achieve in entirety. by yourself.
Or you can be lazy and lose 20 % of your refund. Your choice. See Martin Lewis it is all on the website. I suppose you might use a debt management company that you pay for via fees!!! Why would you do that when there are FREE offerings which are paid for by the banks. See CCCS.nationaldebtline and several others Only a lazy fool uses a debt management company!

As Paul says. Do it yourself . Who do you think pays for all the day time telly adverts. You do out of your 20%-30% fee to the claim company.

Why don't you put a complaint into the Financial Ombudsman. They may be able to help you recover your funds
