  • Landlords in Distress

    Andy Tiong - Warning

Well, Mr Tiong finally responded after numerous communication attempts from me. I suggested he refund my money [in the manner he had promised me before I agreed to sign up with him] by end of play Weds 11th Oct. Suffice to say he declined. So, now I will continue to explore other routes of redress.

Incidentally, I came across this whilst browsing LinkedIn. Pretty much the same pitch he put to me, though I never got to see this flyer. I would be interested to know what anyone here thinks about the seminar he proposes. One to avoid, I suspect, if my experiences with Mr Tiong are anything to go by.

A bit after the event, but it seems that none of Mr Tiong's companies are registered with the Financial Ombudsman or the Finacial Conduct Authority. No surprise there then. His lettings agency Pillar Properties, however, is registered with the PRS, amongst others. Though these companies all operate out of the same office.
