    Does S24 apply to land?

I owned a DIY livery yard a long time ago, one owner with six horses is as good as it gets, I would have separated off your own stable block and field to keep you.

The horses were never the problem, just the owners.

Indeed which is why I have my own place already. I'm looking to buy land & stables elsewhere to rent out. There are so many people looking to move from livery yards because of all the politics. Just trying to work out if it stacks up to make it financially worthwhile as there are lots of benefits over housing people.

I have looked into doing that a few times but never found the right land.

I found that in affluent rural villages its way overpriced, either you have your own piece or you pay over the top.

Elsewhere you wouldnt want to keep your horses for a range of reasons, security etc

    As ever, location is everything.

Maybe I should look into it again.

Thanks for making me revisit the idea and good luck.

I have found a piece of land not that near me, maybe 40 minutes away, but it's not as if I'd have to pop there regularly. Already has horses on it, seems an ok area, price is good so that's a concern but before I go and look I thought I need to see if it stacks up on paper.
