There is a wild difference with the platforms and the loan types on offer.

Some of the time the platform only allows an investor to blend their money with the platform deciding on the loans that are in the blend. In other cases, the investor picks the precise loans or opportunities.

Do you trust your skills or the platform managers' skills? What does an investor really know about loan underwriting, credit scoring and risk assessment?

More important is what happens if there is a default. Who does clean up and chases the borrower?
