Heard of these showers with toilets inside?

Has anyone heard of these shower cubicles you can get which have a toilet inside?

Do you think tenants would like one of these in the corners of their rooms?

then I can advertise my rooms as ensuite lol

HMO's perhaps - but ud have to check quality and cost for replacement. Replacing whole shower unit because toilet is broken (especial in such small space) could be expensive.

Check out; mobile home W/C stuff - lots of odd but cool ideas like this. Or the American "small home" peonominum.

Your en suites would go well with these tiny capsule hotel rooms in Japan
Each one just bigger than a coffin.

It'd be good in a Airport or something. One could not live without personal space for long and if they could - would well annoy the others - blasting music out of there "pod" etc..

Will put that under; awesome idea, awful in practice.

In all seriousness though, do you think tenants in HMOs would like to have a shower / toilet in their room? (not an ensuite room as not enough space) I mean literally just this shower thing in the corner of the room?

They'd probably attract a premium but less than a conventional ensuite, and I suspect the installation cost would be not much less than a conventional ensuite, as you'd still have to plumb them in - and they're not cheap to buy, e.g. this one is £2455+VAT before installation. You'd have to be in a pretty expensive area for the rental premium to justify the cost.

This is a concept that is bound to fail. If you have installed one of these monstrosities you would be unable to get spare parts so would have to rip the whole thing out having flushed 2.5k down the pan. These things are the Sinclair C5 of the HMO industry.
