Let my property to a company?

As a semi retired carer I have yet to meet a colleague with the attitude you describe, that has made it through an induction. I have retained 2 contracts on a very minimal basis, one is in its 6th year, the other its 11th year, neither of which I consider short term. Wages are on the low side, but this is not the priority for most carers, hence the general positive and responsible attitude of most in the industry.

    Dear all

Firstly, many thanks for your contributions. I hope it is ok to post my query here.

I have received an offer from my letting agents that Centennial Property Limited, T/A The Housing Network would like to rent  one of my apartments. I have been told that above company are a relocation agent. They work with large insurance companies like AXA, who have clients who have made a claim on their home insurance.

However on doing some online due diligence it appears that above company provides temporary accommodation to 'people in need'. This company may well provide services to Insurance companies as well as serve people in need.

I am bit concerned about the wear and tear if my apartment were to be used for temporary accommodation for people in need.

Has anyone had any dealings with The Housing Network or Centennial Property Limited. I would be very grateful for your advice and comments.

    Thanks in advance

    Rahul

I know that Axa were using Countrywide about 5 years ago.

They offered some incomparable dive on the other side of town when our house flooded. Refused it and ended up going to an agent ourselves and got them to agree to paying for a house for 6 months near our home.

They were using GAB Robins as loss adjuster.

Not to say that this is still the supply chain or they have/had single supplier.

Interesting thread. I was under the impression that renting to a business was good, thought this prior to r2r being 'a thing'. Nothing is straight forward....
