    I see your point.  It seems that it will be risky, as it is NOT under the AST.  What should I do now?

    (NB: I got the tenancy agreement with housing association).

    Recently, I read the Company Tenancy Agreement (CTA) in details.  I just discover the clause below:

    6. The Landlord does not agree to carry out any repairing obligations as required by section 11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985.  As a company let, the named tenant is responsible for all repairs within the property.

    It seems that I can get back my monthly rental.  Am I right?

    Worth noting that, if you cannot visit the property yourself, you can arrange for a Viewber to attend, and they can take photographs and report back to you.
