    • Yesterday I toured four sites with dozens of our investors. Thanks to our crowdfunding with @simplecrowdfunding we have over 150 investors many of whom have invested in all six of our raises.

@___janesworld___ did a brilliant job at investor relations but when she left for an exciting new opportunity the task fell to me to regularly update progress and answer queries. With so many investors there is always the odd one or two who like to complain and I’m no where near as patient as Jane. But yesterday confirmed to me what a brilliant group of investors we do have. The other up-date talks about how the London property market has tanked and nothing is selling and seems to be preparing investors that the properties will be rented out for a long time instead.

Rassie, I would be more curious to know if the planning professional and building costs are as budgeted and also if being close to completion (of some of the projects) they have managed to sell some off-plan (how many?) units at the forecasted price?

There is an interesting discussion on Facebook about the powers of shareholders to overrule Directors

    https://www.facebook.com/groups/housesofm...&ref=notif

If the shareholders are disgruntled with the way the Directors are progressing with a development , eg it is too highly priced for a falling market and there are plans to rent out properties rather than sell them (as proposed in the original Crowdfunding documentation) at a reduced price, then they can take complete control by removing the Directors and appointing new ones & then selling etc as they think fit.

The shareholders need to group together to achieve a majority and if they act in accordance with the memorandum and articles of association of the Company then the shareholders have huge power if they work together as one.
