    Northwood's Guaranteed Rent scheme

    You can't see the terms until you've agreed to be bound by them?  That sounds like a contract agreed to under duress, thus void. (IANAL - any lawyers care to comment?)

    Come on Northwood, don;t be shy, what is it you're so sensitive about?

    £50 to an agreed housing charity if you will...

    a) Confirm who or what is contractually responsible for covering any "guarantee" if the branch/franchise goes bust, please?

    b) Make the terms of your much admired scheme public, please.

    We provide a copy of the guaranteed rent contract to individuals at valuation. We most certainly do not expect anyone to agree to any terms without having the opportunity to examine them. We also tailor contracts to specific requirements.

    I will not publish any IP on a public forum, however any landlord interested in our GR offering is extremely welcome to speak to their local office and have as much time as they need in deciding whether or not to proceed including seeking independent legal advice.

    To imply we seek to secure agreements under duress is just silly. All landlords have a choice of service be it Guaranteed Rent, Legal & Rent protection insurance, full management or tenant find.
