    Others ways to reduce impact of S24

    I'm no expert, but my understanding is that as long as the % split reflects the owership split it's OK. I think there is some case law about married couples having the right to minimise their tax implications as a partnership. You can shift some of your personal allowance to your spouse for example? You can also buy in one person's name and that seems to be fine too.
