Past/future growth - where to find data?

Hi All... can someone point me to the best / most used site for viewing historical and expected future property price growth by U.K. postcode?

    Does that site exist?

    Thanks all

    Nigel M.

    Hi Nigel,

Not sure if this exactly fits the bill, but thought it might be of interest:

*How to make data-driven property decisions

The Land Registry also have some useful resources.

Rightmove has sold prices since Jan 1995 in each postcode (with up to 3 month time lag from sale date) - but any guestimates of future price growth would be merely someone's opinion/educated guess.

Longer term historic data on Nationwide house prices back to 1955 IIRC - but this is very general by regions/property type so only a rough guide.

Another good site for historic data is OURPROPERTY.CO.UK

As LandyLordy said, rightmove do historic data for each postcode. Zoopla also have something similar where they tell you the number of sales, value change (in a set time such as 12months), average selling price, and their best estimate for a current price for each postcode as well. Hope this helps.
