Pension strategy for Self Employed & S24

Yes I mentioned that I intend to do that eventually, but first it must make profits. Last year it made about £250 - which I mostly spent on a christmas meal. . I am planning to buy a third property for it this year so most profits wll likely go towards that. After that I have the options of paying a small dividend, repaying the directors loan and making pensin contributions. I haven't decided which to go for.

Note that income from letting does not count for pension purposes

Is this the same for commercial rents and residential?

Pension has to come from Net Relevant earnings

You would need to check that out first with an IFA

Or if you are a Director your company can pay into pension for you even if the company is a Landlord

    Learn Change and Adapt ?????

DL - you are so flippin kind!

That goes for some others of you out there as well!

The time you put in to help other people is unbelievable and it all goes towards the sense of comradery that's SO apparent on this website (and the forum in particular).
