Do people still really fall for this? I personally think property marketing gurus & courses should be regulated...it's one step from fraud! It's the vulnerable novice investors being sold the "passive income" dream that lose out!

Where are the ethics??!! I find it all really hard to believe!

Someone needs to come out & publicise what these people are doing...inc. Glenn Armstrong. How many more people need to get hurt before this happens??!!

    Hi Punk,

Yes the sector does need regulating but by who?  The FCA does not deal direct with consumers, although you can report things of concern to them via their website. Whether they have the resources to look into these are another matter ...

So far, the social web - Property Tribes and a few brave people who are willing to speak out on facebook - are the only preventative measures to stop newcomers thinking they are going to be a millionaire in one year, when starting with no money.

Most publishers and media won't get involved with it, due to threats of defamation creating legal risk.

Property Tribes has fended off many, many legal threats over the years to allow truthful reporting to remain.  It has caused Nick and I untold stress but we know it provides an important service to the community as there is no formal/legal protection for consumers in the wealth creation arena.

The interesting news is from today's Spring Statement:  The CMA to undertake a review of the digital advertising market, as this must work in consumers' interests and protect them from financial loss and harm.

This might reign in the ridiculous and unproven claims made by wealth creation marketeers.

Fingers crossed with this CMA review Vanessa...something needs to be done!

It's all slick US selling tactics...no different to any other ponzi-type scheme! There's no "get rick quick" formula in property...never has been!

When will the world wake up??!!
