    Landlord Agent,

I understand it was a very acrimonious parting.

Wow, I love property tribes just that little bit more today, and Vanessa you are a legend for your responses and comments

I went to a crash course and booked onto his further training. I then did my due dillegence on him and found this thread. Thank goodness I did and thank you everyone. I realise I should have done my due dillegence on him first but was drawn in :/ Got my refund through last week, minus a £250 booking fee. GRRR

I found a video on his youtube promoting his crash course, in which his brother does a review, such a shame as I fell for it all. The video is the first one posted to his channel for those who want to see it. I tried to post it, but new users can't post links

Thanks again for opening my eyes, I'm still going into property Smile

    A Little Duck,

Don’t feel bad that you fell for it, you’re not alone.  Look at the positives, you made a decision based on the information you had access to at the time.  When you did your due diligence and realised that you made a decision based on ‘emotion’ you took action and rectified this.  Kudos to you!

Unlike you, after hearing Samuel speak at a property event, I attended his 2 day Crash Course at which I paid to attend his 3 day DFE/ZERO course last year September.  My story ended with issuing a Small Claims against Samuel.

Over the coming few days I will give a full and factual account of my experience of attending his course, the course itself, content, structure, support etc, following attendance, actions I took and lengths I had to go to to get a refund, the court hearing, Samuel’s behaviour during and after the hearing and much more.  This is my personal experience and as always, I can confirm my comments with, factual documented proof.

A Little Duck, don’t feel bad, you had the foresight to take action.

Make sure you leave it on Google reviews as well to provide some balance to the current ones

I second that it seems alot of posts are being deleted or moderated.  I keep getting notifications from here being directed to posts that have been deleted.

With respect, only posts that are a breach of our T & C's or do not meet our community standards are moderated or removed.  That is not "a lot", especially for such a busy site as this.

Very often, I receive reports generated by members directing me to posts that they feel are not right for this community, so, to a great extent, Property Tribes is self-moderated.  It's a challenge to get the balance right, but that is what I endeavour to achieve.

Property Tribes subscribes to freedom of speech, but only if that commentary can be substantiated.  If it can't, then it won't be allowed because that is not fair on anybody.

Was the £250 booking fee mentioned anywhere in anything you signed?

If not, pursue him for it, MCOL and get a CCJ.
