    I hear it all the time that buy tracker and it will perform better than managed funds

    All Great points.

    Personally i don't think the government has any issue with landlords at all, I just think its an easy tax income that is simple to track and monitor. example HMO licence, easy cash for a council..

    My personal belief is as landlords flee the market, councils wont have houses and they will have to slacken the rules. lets see.
