    Use of home as office?

    I've read quite a lot of Property Tax Portals material and pay substantial Annual subscription. The Home office article gives Full detail. Is 4 pages.

    HMRC's weekly rate is derisory and you can claim a % of your Council Tax, Eater rates, Utility bills etc

    you should be claiming 000's. !

    im sure theres guidance on hmrc website.  I recall the % is based on number of rooms in dwelling.

    So no accountants prepared to comment on a HMRC accepted principal? Should this not be immediate

    Definitely check with your accountant. We asked ours about claiming for home office and I can't remember now any we are advised against it I think it might have something to do with creating capital gains on you PPR.

    Only creates a capital gain if your home office has exclusive business use.
