Young entrepreneurs sought as interview guest

Property Tribes is looking for young property entrepreneurs to take part in "Young Entrepreneurs Week" 2018.

Applicants must be aged 30 or under and be involved in some aspect of the property sector - landlord, developer, lettings agent, business start up, proptech etc.

The week and interviews will be powered by Keller Williams and hosted by Chris Buckler, who recently opened the fourth Keller Williams hub at London Bridge.

Here is Chris talking about his own entrepreneurial journey in the property sector:

PT'ers may recall that last year's week was expertly hosted by Ryan Carruthers of Venture.

Here is a reprise of that content to give you an idea of the format:

    Monday -  Rajan Bahra

    Tuesday - Harvey Pearson

    Wednesday -  Sophie Ali

Thursday - Jerome Mcbean and Shaun Barrett

    Friday - Daniel Jenyo.

If you would like to be considered to take part, then please drop a line with brief details of your property journey to vanessawarwick (at) icloud.com.

Filming will take place in late August or early September in London and interviewees will be required to attend on the same day.

    Hi Helen,

There is no deadline per se.  We are filming at the end of August, so plenty of time. Smile

Great, thanks Vanessa!  There are a couple of inspiring young people I'd like to put forward, but have to speak to them first.

    Best,

    Helen

It's a shame you can't include non property guests such as Josh Kim - we have much to learn from those not in property that THINK BIG:

    • Young 20 year old American healthcare entrepreneur that acquires healthcare companies - almost bought a hospital in the EU for almost $800m when he was 18 but dropped the deal because it was going to take 3 years to close.
    • By the time he turns 21 this year he will have hit $21m in revenue - he expects to hit a net worth of at least $100m by the time he is 23 or 24.
    • He started his company with NO MONEY, NO rich family or friends included (his father works at the Pentagon) - funding predominantly comes from commercial debt finance (and possibly Private Equity).
    • He went into business when he was 17 after being home schooled and then did an MBA in finance WHILST he was doing deals - he now works approx 100-120 hours per week.
    • He has his own Board of Directors and Chairman, plus major international Accounting/Law firms that form his 'Dream Team'.
    • Important note: He is not entirely unique in his abilities and accomplishments - there are other 'uneducated' youngsters (and adults) like him that are rolling up companies in other industries using the exact same model.
    • What were YOU doing (the people on this forum) when you were 18 years old? - certainly not pursuing $800m deals I'm sure.

I'd be very surprised if someone with those credentials wanted to be interviewed by a property forum.  I doubt he'd come over from America for it either.
