TDS Northern Ireland, the Belfast based tenancy deposit protection scheme, is launching a new training academy for landlords, letting agents and other property professionals. The three part programme will take an in-depth look at tenancy deposit protection, tenancy management and adjudication, and follows on from its successful introduction across England and Wales.
The training is focused on equipping delegates with knowledge on the legal aspects of tenancy deposit protection, as well as best practice tenancy management, with the final course focusing on dispute resolution. The training will count towards Continuous Professional Development (CPD) with professional bodies such as ARLA, NAEA and RICS and will give delegates access to expert and practical advice from senior colleagues of TDS Northern Ireland.

Our new Academy will provide a unique collection of courses for property professionals, which will mean that tenants are in the very best of hands.
“The training is open to all landlords, letting agents and property professionals with a preferential rate for TDS Northern Ireland members - and we are offering a 20% early bird rate of for all bookings made by the 12 August 2016.”

The Introduction to tenancy deposit protection and tenancy management session is ideal for those new to the industry or wanting a refresher. The follow on course is Principles of Adjudication and will suit property managers and landlords wishing to enhance their knowledge of the dispute resolution mechanism and how to avoid disputes. The final course is for established professionals where delegates become adjudicators for the day.
