  • Tenant Referencing

    Best Tenant Reference agency recommendations

So if you had to do another referencing then would you go with either of them or neither and take a try on another one.

There are so many out there and now that the fees needs to be paid by the landlord it ends up being an expensive exercise if you struggle to get it right early on. Once I find a tenant I want the reference experience as soon as possible.

All have some positive and negative things about them. Trying to see if there is a consensus based on feedback of people's experiences to see if hopefully I can whittle it down to top 3 recommended by the tribes people.

Disclaimer: I have no legal expertise nor am I a qualified advisor on any subject. A humble landlord using an open forum to exchange ideas and experiences.

I would look at RLA next time but would use LRS again if tenants could pass. I'd like to have the time to research the T&Cs of various ones to see what wiggle room they give themselves.

Openrent subcontract the referencing so I would not call them a referencing agency. If you have a query you have to contact the actual referencing agency. Personally I use the NLA.
