  • Buy-to-Let

Buy to let still viable starting out in 2019?

Very funny John, made me chortle!!

My better half and I  have 2 in Newport area of S Wales. Very little movement for past 10 years but giving a small amount of supplementary income despite a few surprises like a£3k bill for our part in renovation costs to a Housing trust block of flats.

We’ve been lucky with no voids as one is let through the council for last 10 years and the other has had the same veri tidy tenant for 5 years.

The returns have been worth the small amount of trouble.

Here’s hoping for Capital growth over the next 5-10 years.

? Ha ha.  Well summed up.

I thought Paul B was the Lodger man, along with if you make the leap don’t forget the RGI.

Check out who says what and why they say it

You will always find people who say BTL the best thing since sliced bread

You will always likewise find people who say don`t touch it with a barge pole

    You decide

BTL is not dead from my point of view

I completed on one last week for a client

BTL is alive and kicking for selected individuals who know their stuff

Aim to be one of those selected  individuals

    Good Luck

    That’s quite ironic really

be honest you have an axe to grind lol

your sourcing property for your cliants so you have to be bullish on BTL

I don’t have clients to work for so my opinion is unbiased 100%

anyway you said you had given up the property sourcing side of your bussinss and now your doing it again

Axe to grind !!. Me! Pot calling the kettle black me thinks

You are the one who gets through a whetstone a week DL

I`ve been bullish all my life not just with property . Sorry

I know being bullish is  a strange concept to you though.

The grumpiest millionaire since records began

I refer you my 648  other posts I`ve written when you  perennially bring up  my sourcing skills

Try to retain info better please or maybe take  copious notes to refer to later

You don`t have to have clients to be biased.

You are rock solid  proof of that fact
