  • ALEP Autumn Conference

The Association of Leasehold Enfranchisment Practitioners (ALEP) has announced that its annual Autumn Conference will be held from Monday 4 – Thursday 7 October 2021. Following the success of last year’s virtual event – and given the continuing uncertainty of the pandemic - the conference will be held online.

The event will follow a similar format to last year, which was attended by more than 200 delegates across four days. There will be a combination of seminars, talks and panel discussions for delegates to attend, with morning sessions directed towards junior practitioners in the sector.

ALEP Director, Mark Chick, said: “We are delighted to announce the dates for our next virtual conference. We have seen great interest in our online events during the past year and the conference will once again show ALEP’s committment to delivering informative and relevant content, as well as an opportunity to debate and gain guidance and peer opinion on key issues surrounding leasehold.

“It has been an eventful year in the leasehold sector with the government’s announcement on leasehold reforms, the introduction of a Commonhold Council and the banning of ground rents on new leases. We are looking forward to discussing these and other topics with our members and giving practical advice to keep them at the cutting edge of challenges facing the sector.”

News about the event, pre-agenda information and booking details will be published at https://www.alep.org.uk/ in coming weeks.
