Charity event - search, research & due diligence LIVE

Hi Everyone! Rob & Laura are proud to announce our 4th charity event! Sunday 24th July! Just £50 per ticket! We are reaching out to all fellow property lovers, fellow landlords and others who may have an interest in property in the future and would like an insight without commitment or catches. You don’t need to bring your credit card as we are not upselling expensive mentoring programs. There are no catches whatsoever.

So we got to thinking, how can we raise money AND talk about property all day? (definitely our favourite subject!) Well, we are offering a practical ‘live’ day of demonstrating and practicing our due diligence and cashflow techniques.
Why due diligence? Well, we remember very clearly the fear of buying those first few properties, wondering if we got the numbers perfectly correct, so we’d like to offer this demonstration to help others who may be in the early stages of property investment or thinking about it!

Rob & I are both proud that we are financially free with our rental portfolios, Rob left work in 2013 and Laura in 2014! We put into action the model of ‘Buy - refurbish - rent/flip - remove initial cash - repeat’. The fundamentals of getting the due diligence right and really understanding the numbers has served us well!

What will we be practicing?
* How we researched and selected our investment areas
* The due diligence checks (there are a lot!!) we complete before offering on a property
* The cashflow prediction
* How we’ve moved from single lets to higher yielding strategies
We take pride in the due diligence methods we use to minimise our risks when buying property but also being considerate and ethical landlords. We always seek to do the right thing by our tenants as well as our profits!

We hope you will join us in The National Self Build Centre on Sunday 24th July, its easily accessible from the M4 and just 1 hour from London Paddington by train! It’s worth the trip!

The charity is called “The Retinal Childrens Fund”. It has a huge place in my (Laura’s) heart. After being born prematurely and developing an eye disease associated with premature birth, one particular eye doctor has worked tirelessly to save my eyesight in adult life.
He is also the lead surgeon in our area for eye disease in todays premature babies and one NHS special care baby unit is in dire need of a retinal scanner to monitor these premature babies. So we, Rob & Laura are helping fundraise £25,000 for this machine!
