How to stop expanding door? Fitter to blame?

    Thanks everyone for the comments.

Since creating this thread I have sanded the door frame one final time and this time primed the edges of the door and so far no further expansion (fingers crossed).

A few have suggested planing the door. The reason why I would like to avoid this is firstly it involves removing the door and then removing the locks or hinges depending on which side I plane. Also as the door has already been trimmed, I would like to avoid taking more off the door than necessary. Sanding the door frame back is a lot easier. If it does continue to expand then yes I may have to go down this route, making sure the door is fully sealed before putting it back.
