    Labour advocating Indefinite Tenancies

A high proportion of the 1 in 5 will be ending the tenancies because they are getting out of BTL. Isn't that what Labour, Conservatives and Shelter want? It's a totally predictable response to government actions.

No issues with this, the trade off being that they make it easier to evict for arrears or anti-social behaviour.

That would be the sensible trade off..... however sensible doesn't currently seem to appear in a lot of political actions...

DISCLAIMER just my personal opinion - for legal advice consult a qualified professional grown-up.

If rents were fixed to a measure linked to housing cost inflation then not necessarily something i’d dismiss out of hand, my rents have not kept up with inflation over the last 20 years and expect there other parts of the country in a similar position.
