Landlords - look at car manufacturers/drivers

Can you imagine if a Car Manufacture being told for every car you sold three years ago we will charge you Tax

I could imagine it happening to VW, at least for their diesels.

As a motorcyclist I hear of car drivers expenses and appreciate I have the cheaper, easier option.

As a lodger/licensee landlord I feel my tenanted property is much like a car.

I'm planning to buy a commercial let and also trying a quadricycle.

Quadricycles look interesting - are they for one person or more than one?

We are looking at a Renault Twizy.  We can store it on the back of our motorhome and use it for going into town etc.  It's a compact electric vehicle, with zero-emissions in use; it seats up to two people.

What is the cost of tax and insurance for the twizy, also when asked by the insurance company where it is kept overnight do you say on the back of your motorhome? Joking aside it looks great for the short trips in to a town centre.

There is a useful article here about Twizy running costs.  It is £0 tax and category 11 insurance.

Just to be clear, the Twizy will only be on the back of our motorhome when we are out in the van.  The rest of the time, it would be parked down the side of our house. Smile
