Mark I'Anson - anyone had any dealings?

    ``paying a guru never ever works.`

A bit too blanket a statement for me

If you are focusing on the method not the man then a guru indeed can work

There are good gurus and bad gurus

A guru is  an influential teacher or /and an expert and they can be of great use and 100% work

As they say  - you never forget a good teacher .

Some people don`t need teachers as much as others

But a very good expert teacher ( aka good guru ) can  help many  on their road to success

PT is great but not a panacea. It can steer you to good gurus for further education

The word guru when related to property has been tainted I believe and especially on this forum

Its has become perhaps synonymous with bad karma

Some gurus are good though, despite the bad press the specific word `guru` often gets
