Mobs trash £1.3million Airbnb in Kensington

Around 250 revellers packed the tiny two-bed basement with dozens more spilling into the street in Kensington, West London

Are you surprised, many people are now taking action themselves against what they regard as money grabbing landlords. £300 per night would be cheaper in a hotel.

This is not uncommon and expect to see a rise in such behaviour. Unfortunately landlords now have to take extra care - thats the new world we live in I am afraid and a direct result of the broken housing market that governments have failed to address over many years.

The unregulated nature of Airbnb has led to a lot of stories like this, massive overcrowding, party venues, using the property to sell stolen cars from and opening various credit frauds at the address are only a few of the examples. Or just people wanting an off the record address because they don't want to be traced.

Its far from just tourists on holiday
