  • Rent-to-Rent

Rent to Rent... is it really a viable route?

Pretty much sums up the calibre of people involved in Rent2Rent.

Saw the post earlier, the comments trying to defend her situation are amusing and worrying to say the least. Apparently she has 15 rent to rent contracts that are all not compliant!

So 15 landlords and at least 15 tenants all at risk because of one cretin.

If nobody allows it, why expose yourself and the Landlord by taking the risk on 15 properties not compliantly! Crazy!

'Guys Iv got 15 rent to rents without permission
    Nobody allows it
    Iv tried
First one to get found out that’s why I asked but it seems this page is full of geniuses'

'nobody offers you apartments to service legally it’s against the lease'

'It’s a company and I’m paying his rent so how am duping him??
    Stop been ridiculous
The unit is maintained to a very high standard'

'There are at least 5 others in the block who are servicing so are not in breach as the lease is surely the same for every one'

So, just because others are doing SA in the building, it doesn't mean it's right or legal!......mmm

I was thinking about this option as I'm looking for cashflow and do not have much in the way of funds to buy another BTL as yet. Clearly there are key things to consider before going ahead.
