    Restricting tax using LLP+Ltd company?

And your opinion of incorporating an existing BTL partnership ( with or without borrowings) utilizing S162 ?

If it meets the criteria then I'm all for it. S162 is nothing to do with a partnership. That's SDLT relief you are thinking of. I'm all for reliefs if the criteria are met. Many accountants keep referring to getting HMRC clearance beforehand but they stopped giving clearance over a year go so the accountants now need to opine and stop sitting on the fence.

I’m very interested in this setup (obviously anyone would be). But has anyone actually just asked a mortgage lender what they think of the llp+ltd?

most of my property are tmw - so if I changed to this setup - and then mortgage works said no - government or not - I’d be nackered ;-)
