Roof leak caused by poor workmanship

Ouch.  Right then.  What I need is a good solid team of people up there that I can blinking well trust!

Does such a thing even exist?

Yes Carol - sticking with the BTL you have will be cheaper in short term - assuming you wish to remain a landlady!

Whilst not defending builders - a medical analogy springs to mind around diagnosis - as every call out for a builder needs a firm diagnosis but without the modern diagnostics available to medics.

That said a building surveyor looked at house roof next door with a long telescopic pole with a camera on top - and the movie film can then be loaded on PC and magnified - as well as copied to home owner. Drones are used by building maintenance firms too - as it saves on scaffolding costs which could be £1000 alone.

Leaks are notoriously difficult to diagnose - but if only appeared after recent building work that suggests first port of call
