  • Property Training/Mentoring

    Samuel Leeds - training review

Thankyou for doing this on his youtube pages so publicly. I despair at the number of sycophantic comments, many from children under 18, desperate to go on his courses and lapping up his platitudes:

I must say I feel like a lone voice drowning in a deluge of gullibility, but if it even stops one person from parting with money, then it will have been worth it.

Every week week I am called by people who have lost sizeable sums of money falling for the belief that you do not need any money to buy property and paying for expensive training and mentoring.

One individual called me this week - he is a professional person - and he paid £4K to go on an HMO course that claimed you didn't need any money to buy HMOs.  Even when I was explaining things to him, he was so in denial about the reality, that he kept repeating what the trainer had told him to try and argue against what I was telling him.  He almost believed what the trainer had said - "that it was his own brain and mindset stopping him being successful".  These are out and out mind games.

The idea of saying you can get involved in property with no financial input is highly misleading false and uninsured advice, but there is nothing - other than a google search - stopping Samuel and others making these claims and becoming wealthy off the back of it, at the expense of their mentees.

The big elephant in the room is that people are using their pension pots for expensive training or mentoring and are also loaning property gurus money from their pension pots.  As numerous people have suggested to me in recent times - "It's going to be the next PPI scandal" ....

The problem is that people are stupid, gullible and lazy - they will not google him, because they are hard-wired into not wanting anything to get in the way of their fantasy. And we can warn people as much as we like, but he'll always be ahead.

“A lie will go round the world while truth is pulling its boots on.”. That wasn't Churchill or Mark Twain btw - I've done some due diligence:

    C. H. SpurgeonGems from Spurgeon (1859).  An earlier version appears in the Portland (Me.) Gazette, Sept. 5, 1820: “Falsehood will fly from Maine to Georgia, while truth is pulling her boots on.”

Still earlier, Jonathan Swift wrote in The Examiner, Nov. 9, 1710: “Falsehood flies, and the truth comes limping after it.”

Funny you should say that .... From Samuel's youtube channel comments:

I love that your comments are automatically negative. Without the commentator expanding on the point, or substantiating the claim
