    Sec 21 served but council playing hard ball

    thanks for the advice but i really wish it was that simple even though the original is on carbon copy and the

    one i paid for again is a certificate the council will not except it cus guess what!!!!!! its not the bloody same

    I don't see that it would matter that it's not 'the same'. You've done everything you were required to do. You got the checks done, and can prove it. You gave 'a copy' of the certificate to the tenant and can prove it, and they have signed to say they got it. That's all you need to do to satisfy the s21 stuff as far as i'm aware (I may be wrong). They have to work to the letter of the law, and can't make up their own rules. So - as long as you've complied with the details above, you should be good to go.

    Hence my argument from  November its just bristol city council are just rip off over charging non understanding B****RDS

    but some one one this forum gave some advice to speak to some one higher and retry again,so thats the shot for know then it has to be court if no Luck.
