Just looking into doing compliance training for property sourcing. I am looking at doing the training with Tina, unless I was not looking in the right places, as i can't see anything about her here. I was wondering if anyone had any experiences of her and here training/sourcing company. I know that she took time out to write her book so revenue went down but was just looking for a little independent reviews/experiences.
Hi Kyran,I have not previously heard of Tina although her company was incorporated in 2012, so she has been around for a while.I did a quick google search and found it very refreshing that Tina is so hot on deal sourcing compliance and sings from the same hymn sheet as I do in this regard. She has even written a book on the topic, so good for her.Digging deeper, it would appear that she is a former student of Daniel Latto, so has come through the "training" route and now set herself up as a trainer. Nothing wrong in that of course, but interesting piece of the jigsaw puzzle nonetheless.

I've not had any experience with it - but have just looked into the company and the directors do not seem to have much net worth company wise.
It seems they dont do much property activity themselves? Personally I wouldn't want to be taught by anyone who hasn't got plenty of live or prior experience doing property deals/developments...
How much is the "course"?
(But late to the party but...)I don’t have any experience of Tina so did a quick search as well as I’m kinda considering the sourcing approach again myself. There is an online interview which is quite interesting. A retired police officer, she does come across as quite different to all fast-talking sales guys you generally come across in this sector. I’m not sure she will be battering your phone 20 times a week with 'unbelievable deals' but doesn’t come across as somebody who will pick your pocket and have the watch of your wrist either. From the interview I gleaned she works with her husband, they seem to be Blackpool based, and have been slowly ramping into the business starting part-time in 2014 and gradually becoming full-time 2 years later (husband joined in 2017) after doing the legal/compliance stuff, writing a book on that, then shadowing an existing sourcer for a period. So a very cautious approach that I personally find reassuring (I’m a fan of the get-rich-slowly message).
A slight concern I have is there is no physical address on the website, and the contact number is non-geographical. There are no names, addresses on their Facebook page, etc. It's all a bit low-profile!
