    Valuation Dispute

    Hi DL,

Agree with your opinion. I mostly own houses. This is a high end block of 12 in a coastal resort, with the option to run as a holiday let in the future. Not looking to withdraw funds, just to get a 60% mortgage.

It seems that I am taking all the risk (low in my opinion) And the mortgage company is taking little.

This deal is only a 4.5% yield ....  you're putting £86K into the deal plus all the costs of stamp duty ect

Is this really a good deal?

    Hi DL,

I appreciate this is at the lower end of where I aim for yield. For me I am looking for capital growth - buying off plan meant a small discount, and the option of Holiday letting in the future with gross rental of £25,000 to £28,000.
