    Which boiler would you buy?

    Generally can't go wrong with Valliant or Worcester, they've stood the test of time best across our properties.

    And probably best to not go near Ferroli, bad times with a couple of those 'boilers'.

    Vaillant.  Look no further.  7 year warranty with an approved installer and we must be due a move toward the magic 10 year mark soon.

    Installed a Worcester Bosch 7 years ago. Other than BG annual service never (touch wood) had a call-out on it.

    You've got a good selection of answers here Bill.  I guess, this question was probably a bit like saying, "I'm thinking of buying a new car, what make is best?" and letting all of the answers flood in.  One thing to watch out for though, many authorized installers are incentivized to push their particular brand.  A Vailant certified 'independent' installer will tell you about all of the 4 year old Worcesters he's had to take out and vise versa.  I'm not brand loyal as loyalty in this game is a one way street. For me it's whoever is offering the one of the below with a 7 year warranty at the best price;

    Ideal

    Worcester

    Vailant

    I think Ideal even offer a boiler with a 10 year warranty (Vouge range) but last time I checked, they were cost prohibitive.
