  • Property Prices

    Anecdotal evidence of price reductions?

I have a search on rightmove 10 miles around my postcode for properties listed in past 24 hours.

Today's results 86 properties of which 56 were price reductions. ( that does include multiple listings)

    Anyone else noticing similar?

Can't give you specific numbers as I don't write them down but my local market (South East) is not buoyant. In general, the asking price appears to be £10k/year higher as since it was sold previously.

I have developed a habit to check the Land registry database too for actual sales figures and only a small fraction of the properties for sale in Rightmove and subsequently listed as Sold STC are eventually sold.
