    Best Structure for JV Development

    Hi Tribers,

    I am looking at a JV deal with a builder/contractor to buy a plot and build 1 house.

    The basics of the deal are: land £200k, build cost £200k sell price £500k.

    In principle I will buy the land and the contractor will build (so our expenditure will be the same).

    We would then sell and split the profit 50/50.

    What is the best way to structure this deal in terms of SPV, ltd co, partnership etc?.
