    Buy to let tax advisor

    Any recommendations on a good buy-to-let tax advisor on SPVs, limited companies etc? Preferably in London.

    Not happy with the response times of some of those I've come across online.

    I use a guy called Wayne Ashcroft. He's done the books for my IT company and property company for the last few years. Although he's based out near Guildford, he regularly comes to see me for meetings etc. You could try giving him a call on 07828 882 400.

    You need more than a book keeping type accountant.It is very important to engage a proactive firm of accountants who specialise in property and who are preferably landlords as well..You will need to explore the advantages of incorporation including succession planning tax planning IHT pensions salary divided payments and the creation of additional non voting shares for your children grandchildren etc.Above all you need an accountant that works for you and not HMRC
