    Buying At A Scottish Auction

    Afternoon PT!

    Any pointers or general advice for buying at auction in Scotland?

    Looking at a garage unit under £15k for either personal use or rental.

    Feel out of my depth with auctions, my experience so far comes from Bargain Hunt. I am a big believer in learn by doing so at the very least I will attend the auction.

    Look up Ross Harper he owns runs Auction house Scotland.

    Buying at auction make sure your read and understand legal pack.

    Have the money in place to complete.

    Don't over bid or bid to early let the room settle.

    Just because others are bidding does not mean it is worth it.

    I buy at auctions in Scotland, Watch out for clauses that crop up at the last minute saying you have to pay the sellers legal fees, Future property auctions are well known for this.
