Create and turbo-charge your "income engine"

Welcome to Day 3 of a themed video content here on Property Tribes where we are delighted to present a week of video showcasing investment fundamentals and how to build and protect sustainable wealth.

The week came about at the suggestion of investment commentator, Graham Rowan, who is concerned about the level of financial literacy in the BTL and general investment sectors.

Property Tribes will be presenting a week of content explaining Graham's proven wealth creation method and sharing many valuable insights from the Elite Investor Club, which Graham chairs.

This is how the week is shaping up:

Monday -  Taking responsibility for your financial future and how to do that

    Tuesday -  Get educated!

Wednesday - Create your "income engine" and then turbo charge it!

Thursday -  Build your "wealth pyramid" to future-proof your wealth.

Friday - Protect your assets within a "wealth fortress".

No matter where you are on your property/investment journey, I guarantee there will be some great take-aways for you.

In the third instalment, Graham explains how to create an "income engine" and then turbo-charge it:

Property Tribes recommends the RLA training courses and also John Howard's seminars.  These are low cost training days that deliver great value.

I am sure you will agree that the above video is another really useful contribution by Graham, and there is lots more to come, so tune in daily for the rest of the mini-series, running all this week on Property Tribes!

I was only half joking ... but one of my cats appeared in BBC documentary about intelligent pets, because he had learned how to use a toilet like a human. He was paid a fee for being filmed using the toilet ... although unfortunately he did not flush when he had finished. Smile

Some additional ways to sweat your property assets:

    Rooftop development

Many buildings within your property portfolio will have flat roofs, and this space provides endless opportunity for development. You can turn the rooftop into liveable space by adding floors and then developing flats, or you can market it to telecoms providers and other similar users who require space for communication systems.

    Advertising opportunities

If you have buildings near major roads or railway lines then you may be able to market them for use as advertising space.  An unused gable end wall can be put to valuable use for an advertising board, these come in many shapes and sizes to suit most situations, the income they provide can be substantial and it is worth speaking to an expert who can help you to realise the value in this space.

    Wayleaves

Many utility, broadband, cable TV and telephone companies are looking to agree wayleaves (the right to cross your land) with property owners, particularly those with large portfolios.
