Easiest way to bulk import expense invoices

    Hi,

I have been given the task to do the books for a rental property we spent some money on.

I have a stack of 2-500 invoices spanning 2 years I believe in paper form which need to be imported somehow. I don't fancy the tedious task of inputting them all one by one so was wondering if any of you who have had similar tasks found a way to do it easily?

I'm currently experimenting with an app called receipt bank which supposedly uses machine learning to turn photographs of receipts into useable data but wondering if anyone has a solution that they use with works reliably?

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Receipt bank is great and links to most cloud based accounting systems. I get my 12 year old daughter to take the photos. I used to have piles of receipts I either didn't claim for or would pile up.  Now they are done regularly.

Yeah it seems to have done a nice job on the batch I photographed last night. Will photo the rest tonight and import them to excel and go from there

only part I worry about is catagorising them. Some of the work done was improvements where as other stuff was repair. Will get a book keeper to look at those.

    Thanks for your help
