    FINDING OUT MARKETING DETAILS QUESTION

Is there a system (other than Property Bee or Property Snake) that can be accessed (free or paid for) that will allow you to find out details (for sale prices) of properties that were for sale on the open market but have since been withdrawn? It is often said that the internet never forgets but it appears to in this instance.
    Many thanks

    Hi Steve
if you have a Rightmove account you can access archived properties. Not all of them as you can delete them permanently but in my experience most times they are simply archived.

RM also have their alert service now which tells you of price reductions and also lists the original price. This is free.

    Hi Lisa,
Apologies for not responding to your post earlier, I have tried to post twice during the day via my iPhone but it would not upload. Any way; thank you for confirming that there is a way to do what I was after. The obvious next question is where/who would I go to get a "one-off" use of this and what would a reasonable price be to pay for it?

    Hi Steve
you need to find an estate agent! There's likely one on Tribes so I'd put up a specific post or ask a local friendly one perhaps? As a one off I'm sure they'd do it for free - I would!

    Hi again Lisa,
I currently get alerts about properties that come on the market in the post codes I have selected but I was not aware of the facility to be alerted of price reductions. How would i go about signing up for this alert service?
    Thanks again
    Steve

Hey that was quick, almost like instant messenger! :-)
I got details of some one that would help if I needed it from Phil Martin at ExCel today so I will drop them an email.
    Have a good weekend.

I seem to have trouble using the basic functions but I do have the RM App on it. Can I C+P the links you gave below on to my iPhone then?
