    Hello Gordon,

Yes i have employed FDR to recover money for me.They Did a witness statement to get my case back into court and charge me £3380 in March, and then the week before bank holiday they charge my credit card with the same amount, but then i tried to call them but there lines had been cut off, and when i went past there office it was shut down. I have since found out that a number of ex employees now work for a company called Baker and Bond in wakefield. wether they fleeced mine and other peoples credit cards to use that money to set up Baker and Bond i dont know, but it wouldnt surprise me. If you or anybody else has had problems with FDR then email me at newtonpaul3@aol.com

Blimey Paul how much money were you owed to pay out that much to recover it?
I know a company that will take a % of recovered funds instead of charging fees, drop me a PM or email if you want details.

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for the reply about First Debt Recovery. I have also used them earlier in the year, and found them unsatisfactory(Im being polite because were on the tribes website)

Im pleased that some one else has had some experience of them and Im amazed that you are the first to respond about FDR.

I'll send you a email to you and discuss things.

I paid £368 and got about 10% service and value after all sorts of promises etc. Im sure they must be other similar disatisfied customers.

To anybody else out there who have used FDR and who got there credit card fleeced with amounts that you did not authorise in first couple of weeks of  August 2011, which was just before they shut down, which was around the 22nd of August. Please could you get in touch so that we have a stronger case to give to the police or report the fraud to your credit card company, and say to them that there are other people who are in a similar position

    Paul,

We have not had the card problems you have experienced but they have taken £358.80 via bank payment to chase some old debts for us. As you say they appear to have gone! We paid money to them on the 5th August 2011 with nothing in return it would appear. We are at the moment trying to contact the debtors we gave them to se if they collected anything!

    Dear gordon,

I seem to have had similar experiences to others with this company. I paid them 3000 pounds to chase an unpaid bill. However on the 19th of August an unauthorised transaction was made on my credit card to the tune of 2257 pounds. The phone lines are down and the website is down. The company is still listed as trading. My bank has reimbursed this money and is taking this matter up with their bank. I have made an official complaint to the office of trading standards about this company as I fear this company is operating through fraud. I have sent them a legal letter asking them to refund the 3000 ponds for not providing a service.

my email is jerpe12@gmail.com in the event that people want to action this as a group to the police.

    yours sincerely

    jerson pereira

    Hi Peter Slater,

Regarding the Bank Account details and appointments that you have of FDR, i would obviously very much like them, so that i could pass them onto my credit card company for them to have a look at and to bolster my case in getting the money refunded, if you could attach then to an email and send it to newtonpaul3@aol.com. i would appreciate that.

    Regards

    Paul
