How is everyone dealing with the inevitable GDPR deadline on the 25th of May? Are you sending tenants/ landlords for confirmation of permission to hold their info? Would be very interested in how you are handling it as it gets closer to the deadline!

    Thanks,

    Isabella

As a landlord I do not think that you need a tenants permission to hold standard data on them, assuming you are not marketing to them, and in fact by law you have to hold and retain data on them.  Clearly some data you require to reference them as a new tenant you do not need to keep once they have left so this should be securely erased.
