Getting into property sourcing from scratch

    Hi,

I have been interested in property sourcing for the past several months as it has the potential to give me a good financial base to then use to 'invest' in property.

I have tried searching everywhere on how to get started in deal/property sourcing but nothing tangible has shown up.

I would greatly appreciate some help from someone who has setup a successful property sourcing business to kindly help me to do the same from the ground up. I am a very quick learner and I am based in the Birmingham area.

    I would appreciate any pointers/help.

    Many thanks,

    Sami

    Hi Sami and welcome.

    These threads may assist you:

So I thought I'd be property broker / sourcer

    Starting as a property sourcer

I would also recommend you check out the Keller Williams proposition.  You can join one of their "hubs" and train to be an estate agent for circa £200.00 per month.  You can start your own business under their umbrella part time, and then gradually grow your business to then move into it full time.

Someone I know is doing this, and she is selling two to three houses per month on a part time basis.  She gets access to Rightmove and Zoopla, training, systems, support, and compliance, all under the Keller Williams umbrella.

Keller Williams is the most successful estate agency model in America, and they recently launched in the UK, so it is a great time to get in right at the beginning of something that is going to be a huge success.

I do think this is a far more structured and viable option for you than working alone to source your own deals and you should definitely get in touch with Keller Williams to find out more before deciding which is the best route for you.

I hope that helps and good luck!
