    House prices down again

    HOUSE prices have fallen across the UK for a second month in a row while the number of homes sold has also dropped.

    Average prices were down 0.2 per cent to £236,120 in July compared to the previous month, according to the latest Halifax index.

    I used to buy any paper which had  a headline like this

    Took  it on viewings .

    Casually show it to the agent and even better if vendor was there

    Sow the seed of doubt and help justify a lower offer

    I would happily leave the paper with the vendor saying have a read .

    Spend a  £1 on a paper  and get £1000 off the price

    Some editors are  great value for money
