As the UK's first national landlord association, the RLA is the home for landlords providing accurate, up-to-date advice about important legislative changes and any letting challenges you might be facing. This evening roadshow event hosted by Training Academy Manager, Kitty Speakman, allows the chance for topical debate as well as an opportunity to gain expert advice on issues you may be facing in your lettings business.
With recent findings that 70% of landlords may choose to no longer use an agent in the wake of the tenant fee ban, Carrie Kus, RLA Director and Housing Law Expert, will be discussing the legal aspects and recommended due diligence checks when taking over the management of existing tenancies.
The event will be joined by a special guest from the Department of Work and Pensions for a discussion on the latest amendments to universal credit, so please ensure you are prepared with any questions you wish to raise.
Following the news in January that the government intends to formalise compulsory requirements for five yearly electrical safety inspections, we will be joined by industry expert Ian Halton, NAPIT.
