LendSwift - any experience / thoughts?

    Dear Tribe,

I hope everyone is doing well.

I have been following Lendwift, who source fixed income lending opportunities in which they invest their own funds alongside the Investors.  Broadly speaking, they have two products; (i) bridging loans; and (iii) development loans.  The latter having a higher return given the extra risk.

Based on my experience thus far, they appear to have reasonable security / credit (first charge, PG, reasonable LTV, detailed evaluation of borrower and their credit worthiness, etc.) and a decent trading record over the past few years (in terms of total loans made and returned capital).  I also like the fact the directors invest their own monies in each and every loan.

My plan is to invest the minimum amount and diversify across a few loans.

I wanted to check if anyone else has any experience of investing with Lendwift, and if so then what are your thoughts?  Also are there any key areas of due diligence which I should be looking into?

As always, many thanks in advance and I will report back with my own experiences in due course.
